Over the weekend of 20th and 21st October, 20 of our Beavers and Cubs had a fantastic time at Canyon Activity Centre. One of our newest Beavers got invested, and everyone had lots of fun with games, craft-making, rope-making, a treasure hunt in the dark followed by a night walk in the nearby Fairlands Valley Park south fields and woods! And as if that wasn’t enough, we had an indoor campfire (wet weather alas) and a film screening before tucking into sleeping bags for the night. All did very well, with an unanimous ‘yes!’ to another sleepover sometime soon…
