Thank you for your interest in the Scouts. If you would like your child to join the Pin Green Scout Group, please take a minute to fill in this form and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

We currently have spaces with our Beaver and Cub sections that meet on Mondays, and our Scout section that meet on Fridays. Our Thursday Beavers and Cubs are full so places are currently held on a waiting list. You can find details of our sections and meeting times here.

All Scout Groups are entirely volunteer led, with Adult Leaders, supporters, activity leaders, and Trustees donating thousands of hours weekly to make Scouting possible for young people. Why not consider volunteering?

If you are interested in the Squirrels (4-6 years) or Explorers (14-18 years), please note that we do not currently offer provisions for these sections within Pin Green Scout Group but we are happy to speak to you about it and forward your query to the appropriate team within wider Stevenage Scouting who may be able to help more directly.

Without volunteers and parent helpers, we would be unable to run a successful group and grow our provision for young people. We welcome help in any form - you don't have to have any special skills or have prior Scouting experience. Even if you can only spare an hour a month, your contribution would be invaluable.

What happens next

Once you have submitted the form, one of our team will be in touch, usually within a week (please check your spam if you haven’t heard anyhting within 2 weeks). We will confirm if your young person is able to join one of our sections with a more immediate start, or if they will be placed onto our waiting list. If we are unable to help you directly then we will share your query with other leadership teams within wider Stevenage Scouting who are better placed to assist you.
